Custom Home - Phase 4 of 4: Third-Floor Framing & Roof Trusses

This custom home has reached a major structural milestone as framing moves into its final stages and the full scale and architectural form of the residence come into view.

Following completion of the second-floor structural framing and decking, crews advanced through the third-floor framing, flew and set the engineered roof trusses, framed the stair systems and interior spaces, and continued installation of the ZIP System exterior sheathing as the home moves closer to dry-in.

Current Progress

What began with sitework, foundation construction, CMU structural supports, and elevated floor systems has now developed into a nearly complete framed residence.

The living areas are clearly established, the stair systems are taking shape, engineered roof trusses are in place, and ZIP System sheathing is progressively closing in the exterior walls.

With framing nearing completion, the home’s full scale, room layout, rooflines, elevated design, and architectural character can now be seen throughout the structure.

Next Up

Complete the remaining framing details and blocking, finish ZIP System exterior sheathing, complete roof decking/sheathing, prepare for framing inspection, and advance into the dry-in phase.

The project is now transitioning from major structural framing toward a fully enclosed custom home.
